The brass grab bar seems well made, however there was absolutely no documentation. No installation instructions, no care and use manual, no manufacturer's warranty, nothing. I emailed the manufacturer regarding proper cleaning solvents and did receive an immediate reply. However this information should have been included in the package. Even the box was plain white chip-board. No label, no catalog number, no manufacturer's name, nothing

We've looked from time-to-time, for almost 2 years to find a grab bar that was in the finish and length we wanted, promised timely delivery, and carried a reasonable price tag. We found it in this bar. It has been installed for 2 days and is perfect. It is sturdy, good-looking and was easily installed.

Total lack of installation instruction. I figured it out, but some instruction would have been helpful. Found a grab bar installation memo on the internet.

Machining of the bar connections into the wall mounts is a bit sloppy. Recommend DO NOT use provided screws if not using plastic inserts. If installing into wood use ceramic coated, "heavier" screws.
